Famine Day Walk - Sun May 16th
Will be held on May 16th 2010 to coincide with similar event in Dublin. The walk will be from the Fremantle Maritime Museum to Fremantle Prison. Full details in the next Irish Scene.

The Brendan Award
The Board of the Australian-Irish Heritage Association encourages nominations for the prestigious Brendan Award.
The Brendan Award is presented annually in recognition of outstanding contribution to Australia’s Irish heritage. It is an important means of recognising those in the Irish-Australian community whose service reflects favourably on Ireland and the Irish.
Official nomination forms are available from AIHA, PO Box 1583, Subiaco, WA 6904,
or from our web site www.irishheritage.net
The extended deadline is now 31st March, 2010.
