Comharchumann Raidió Átha Cliath Teoranta founded Raidió na Life 106.4 fm to provide an Irish-language radio
service for Dublin on an educational and community basis. The station has been broadcasting to County Dublin
and its surroundings from a studio in Merrion Square, Dublin since September 1993 (originally on the 102.2 fm
frequency). Now the station broadcasts on the 106.4 fm frequency, and some of the programmes can also be
heard on the internet.
